Several girls in our 180 group have discovered the importance of spending time alone with God and becoming doers of what He teaches them. They want to offer an opportunity to any girl that wants to join in, to log onto this site each day and learn with them.

Ever wondered what to read in the Bible? Or better yet, what something in the Bible means?
Well join us each day, right here, and we will walk through God's Word together:)

Day #32

Begin this time in prayer…  (This is a time to say thank you, to ask forgiveness, and to be quiet and allow God to calm, or still, you).

Read James 2:17

So faith without any works is…
-         Useless
-        Dead
-         has no LIFE at all

This faith without works is evidence that a relationship with God never existed.  There is no such thing as a faith that does not have good works along with it.  There must be fruit on the tree.

Read John 15:1-11!!!  This section of the book of John is AMAZING!!

Write in your journal the answers to the following questions…
1.    Who is the vine?
2.    Who is the vinedresser?
3.    Who is the branch?
4.    What does the Father (God) do with branches that don’t bear fruit?
5.    What does He do with branches that bear some fruit?
6.    Can a branch produce fruit on its own?
7.    What must we do each day to have fruit?
8.    What is proof that you are a disciple, or follower, of Jesus Christ?
9.    What does it mean to ABIDE?

Abiding is like the visual of a little child who hides behind his mom or dads legs for protection.

Abiding is to continue in a daily personal relationship with Jesus.

The characteristics of this DAILY personal relationship include
-         Trust
-         learning through reading the Bible
-         prayer (talking with God)
-         JOYFULLY obeying what you are learning.

I am so excited!  We will be learning more tomorrow about the vine and the vinedresser.

TARGET of the DAY
I want you to begin writing out your story of how you came to have a relationship with Christ and what brought you to the place you are right now.
