Several girls in our 180 group have discovered the importance of spending time alone with God and becoming doers of what He teaches them. They want to offer an opportunity to any girl that wants to join in, to log onto this site each day and learn with them.

Ever wondered what to read in the Bible? Or better yet, what something in the Bible means?
Well join us each day, right here, and we will walk through God's Word together:)

Day #6

Read James 1:16 “…every good and perfect gift comes from above…”

When we think about those who love us the most, we probably think about our parents.  They love us because we are their children.   Parental love is so powerful!  It protects and provides us with the things we need, and often times, the things we want.

Read Matthew 7:11.  Who does Matthew tell us is evil?

Sounds funny, huh?  Seriously speaking though… the quality of earthly parental love is flawed.  I am sure you have noticed that parents make poor choices from time to time.  But, built inside of them is an impulse to do what is best for you.  Still, in the end, it will always be flawed because of sin.  Their parenting will never match God’s parenting.  He will always love you with a perfect love… without mistakes.  PS- remember trials are not mistakes.

Today we are going to start something called…

TARGET FOR THE DAY.

Today’s TARGET is to begin praying for your mom and dad by name.  Be specific in your prayer.
